I got this like I do every year...

Grover was the only guy to get married in the White House and he also served to un-consecutive terms...something his wife prophesized on the day they left the White House during the first term.

I got snow!!!

This is a huge deal in Portland! There have been only two other white Christmases here in my lifetime -- once when I was a kid and once when I was in San Diego. We usually get a couple of snowstorms each winter, but typically in January or February.

Portland is, afterall my hometown. I grew up in Portland and lived there till I was 19. Then I escaped to Cali for the sunshine. I do like Portland as far as big cities go, what with it's unique bueaty and green consciousness and such, but I've decided that I like the sun combined with less urban development like I've got now in the Santa Cruz Mountains even better.

Anyway, Merry White Xmas and cheers to my fellow hometowners!

My dad gives me one of these every year. It is sad that no matter how attractive they are that they chronicle the sad and shameful tenure of GWB.
